Essential Questions:
How do the Laws of Motion affect a rocket racer?
How do slope and y intercept connect to real world situations?
How can systems of equations be used to predict the interaction of two moving objects?
Project Overview:
-Over the next week and a half, you will be designing and building several rocket racers.
-You will conduct a crash test using your final design and predict the time and location of the crash.
-Finally, you will create a portfolio eligible piece that includes:
o Data tables and graphs
o Equations for your racer and your opponent’s racer.
o Laws of Motion Diagram
o Connections
o Analysis and reflection
Goal: Use your knowledge of the Laws of Motion to design the fastest rocket racer possible using the given materials.
