Make sure that you are working on your IXL skills for the week and/or working ahead. Also, if you have not turned in your HERO engine project, I must have it on the day that we return to school.
To think about as you play in the snow:
1. Where does the ice melt first- the sidewalk, the street, or the yard? Why?
2. We didn't have a sled this year, so we have to use household objects. We tried plastic cutting boards, laundry baskets, recycle bins, and cardboard boxes. Which do you think worked best? Why? What else should we have tried?
3. How do potential and kinetic energy relate to sledding?
4. Newton's second law says that Force= mass x acceleration. So does that mean I will always travel faster than Dean on a sled?
