This week we will be working together to balance or unbalance forces and to balance equations.
Here is the COW of the week, lucky number 14...
This week we will be exploring the following concepts:
Monomials vs. Polynomials
Keeping Equations Balanced while Solving One Step Equations
Remember:
Identify Inverse Operation
Balance the Equation (What you do to one side you MUST do to the other!!!!
Solve: Isolate the Variable
Check your Solution
Unbalanced Forces
Equal and Opposite Reactions, also known as Newton's Third Law
Videos that might help you this week:
I learned that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
ReplyDeleteInertia: the natural tendency of an object at rest or in uniform motion that says that that object will stay that way unless diverged by a new, unbalanced force. the law of inertia is Newton/s 1st law of motion.
ReplyDeleteA force is a push or a pull.
ReplyDeleteMyles H-p now knows that
ReplyDeletethere are 3 laws of motion. the first one is inertia an object will remain at rest, or in a motion of a straight line until acted upon by an outside force. The second law of force the acceleration of an object depends on it's mass and amount of force applied to it. The third law is the law of reaction, for every action there is an equal rection or opposite reaction
force mass x acceleration problems and there is a cool reaction for one step equations IBS

A force is a push or a pull
ReplyDelete1. One Step Equations
ReplyDeleteOnly Involve one step to solve it.
The Way It should look:
-You have found The inverse operations
-Whatever you did to one side, you did to the other
AND THEN you should have your answer.

ReplyDeleteA force is when you push or pull. Letting the object move.
monomials are just terms
ReplyDeletepolynominals are like equations
1.a force is a push or pull
ReplyDelete2.Forces occur in pairs and can be either balanced or unbalanced.
3.Unbalanced forces can also be exerted in the same direction.
I learned that when an object is on a table (for example) the gravity pulls it down and the force of the table pulls it up.

When i first saw the balanced forces i thought of i as a negative and a negative (or positive and positive) and i knew that wouldn't work. Then i realized that it isnt it actully the same force in different direction.
ReplyDeleteSimon
Whatever you do to an equation do the same thing to both sides of the equation.

ReplyDeleteinertia is whe objects remain at rest or in a uniform motion straight line unless a unbalanced forme acts upon it.
Issac Newton created the three laws of Motion

I learned that for every action there is an oposite and equl reaction

ReplyDeleteI learned that the second law is made up of
mass-acceleration-force
isaac newton wasnt inspired to write his laws because he was hit on the head with an apple

ReplyDeletei liked how it explained the ways and how it works
